SALEM Brotherhood UgandaSALEM Brotherhood Uganda Ltd. is a non-governmental organization founded in 1981 in Mbale. The goal is to give health and social assistance to the sick and poor in East Uganda. Among others they have a tree nursery and permaculture.

Laikipia Permaculture CentreThe Laikipia Permaculture Center is located near Mount Kenya and was founded by Joseph Lentunyoi after one year of permaculture training all over the world. Since 2013, Joseph works with women’s groups. They cultivate e. g. aloe, moringa and lemon grass. Products are essential oils, honey, jam, vegetables, and as well aloe products. An important part of the project is the development of the Laikipia permaculture centre as a central educational, demonstration and processing site.

Mt. Elgon Permaculture ProjectThe project is located at the Ugandan side of Mt. Elgon near Mbale. We joined the official opening ceremony of this project in 2016.

Kipepeo | Zingaro percussionThe Kipepeo support association supports Zingaro, a drum group from Nairobi, who have acquired a Shamba with land in North Kinangop (close to Naivasha). Agricultural products are cultivated there. The goal is to switch the production to permaculture. We support this project with words and deeds. |
